04 Apr Chriszen Product Review & Chriszen Lip Tinted Stick Swatch
Chriszen happily sent me a bagful of things! For those of you who don’t know, Chriszen is a local brand that just launched in 2014 but they’re well established now. Of course I’ve heard and seen posters of Chriszen, but I never actually thought of trying it until now. So these are the things that were sent to me..& here’s the makeup look + lip tinted stick swatch that I did for you! 🙂
After filling in my brows, I applied an eye primer to my eyelids to make sure the eyeliner stays all day.
The packaging is ideal for those who are on the go as it comes with a brush as well, but I used an angle brush for this just because I’m more comfortable drawing my eyeliner that way.
It dries out semi-matte, almost satin. It lasts all day, but I don’t know what’s wrong with the cap, mine make squeaky sound when I try to uncap/cap it on? Maybe it’s just me.
2. Chriszen Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus
Being absolutely honest, this was what excites me most! I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s not so hygienic, but it’s pretty remarkable isn’t it? I find it rather easy to apply, all you need to do is press on the button at the side of the roller, then the product comes out. Easy.
I used a primer underneath, and applied the lighter shade at the inside perimeter of my face.
I applied the darker shade at the outside perimeter of my face.
Next I blend the foundation with the roller and used the warmth of my fingers to further blend in the foundation.
By the way, the also have a new shade (the darkest shade) called soft caramel!
Chriszen sent me two shades as well – light beige and medium peach.
I used the light beige under my eyes and highest point of my face to bake it.
Next, I applied the medium peach shade to the apples of my cheeks (I love this), and it adds an instant flush to my cheeks due to the powders pink undertone.
Lastly, I took a big fluffy brush to just dust everything off my face, and voila 🙂
I lip pens/sticks like these because it fits into my purse (I’m currently using a long purse), so it’s really easy to bring around and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I like how easily it glides on my lips, but I tend to use the sponge applicator that came along with it for daily use. This is because just using it on its own is a bit too bright for me, and it dries out semi-matte!
I have four different shades with me, and here’s what they look like on me! 🙂
You can get your Chriszen all the products mentioned here.
I hope you find this blogpost helpful in any way. Until my next one!
Much love, faa ♡
